Ju Yon Kim
Assistant Professor of English
Ju Yon Kim is an assistant professor of English at Harvard University. Her research and teaching interests include Asian American drama, fiction, and film; modern and contemporary American theater; and theories of performance and the everyday. Her research has been published in Theatre Journal, Modern Drama, The Journal of Transnational American Studies, and Modernism/modernity. She is currently working on two book manuscripts, Asian American Performance and the Racial Mundane and Suspect Audiences and the Spaces of Asian American Theater. She is a 2013-14 Visiting Scholar at the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, and the past recipient of the Andrew W. Mellon Fellowship in Humanistic Studies, the Mellon Foundation Dissertation Fellowship, and Stanford’s Comparative Studies in Race and Ethnicity Teaching Fellowship.
